This little guy is something else with its mini flowers emerging from their “cocoons” in fine form heralding the coming of Spring.
☀️ For best results, this is an outdoor Kokedama. They live the morning sun and shade in the afternoons.
💧 This is a thirsty plant so don’t let the moss ball dry out too much before watering. We recommend the bob method of watering where you place the moss ball in a clean bucket of water and let it absorb what it likes over the course of a couple of hours.
🍌 Feed the plants every month between spring and late summer, using a fertilizer formulated for acid-loving plants. VERY diluted (I have found Yates Soil Acidifier Liquid Sulfur at Bunnings).
💇♀️ Prune as soon as the flowers have finished. Be kinda harsh to promote more growth.
⚠️ Poisonous if consumed by humans and pets.
It’s a pretty little plant that gives you gems of colour. They may sound scary and hard work but they’re worth it.
This one is available now with a gorgeous white one coming up the ranks. It’s been left o-naturale and will be finished off with a coat of nylon string and then another coat of jute.
